Where it all began
When 2020 came about, the whole world was plunged into lockdown. Confined to our homes, we were forced to spend much of our time working from our home offices. Being stuck at home was already a problem and to add to the misery, some of the furniture available to us was very uninspiring. There was no joy to be had, sitting in a creaky wooden/ plastic chair staring at a boring white desk.

As an action taker, I thought to myself, surely there is other options out there within my budget. Something more inspiring! But no, it was all boring and it appeared that sustainability wasn't even an available option. Hence I set out to build my own furniture out of flax composite, cardboard and bio resin. This also offered me the option of a flax weave finish which is not something people see everyday.

Our in house design ethos and personality has always been to connect with nature from the very beginning of our founding to make our work a sight to behold. We try our best to use the most sustainable and natural material with the flax weave pattern as standard to ensure that our connection with nature isn't lost. No compromise is accepted in our design process as we rigorously integrate the natural forms through biophilic design processes into our products.
